crafters
i tried the search and nothing came up sooo..
i suggest a crafters profession where people have the ability to make stuff to sell to others
in other words allow people to take up the profession that currently npc's have and if u implement the homes idea crafters could use wood to make furniture to places in these houses.
armorers could take iron to make armor
weapons smiths could make weapons of course
artist could use dyes to paint buildings or something.. just an idea...

There have been multiple threads about crafting/side jobs. Unfortunately, most of them have been rejected by the community at large.

With good reason, because they do not fit in this game. At all.

I am sure this will be close soon when Pie gets to it...
But... in thinking about the game, crafting does seem to be a good altnative to leveling (in which you have something else, beside gold and exp, to grind on) But tradition MMO crafting system just won't work in GW. Thus yet to see a satisfing conclusion to such unholy combination.

See those NPC's with crafter after their name? They're the only crafters you'll ever see in this game. For once and for all people GW is NOT WoW or EQ2

There already is a crafting profession in GW: it's called material farming. ¦Þ
Bloody NPC crafters should get their own bloody materials... why do they (ANET) think we pay them? There is no way I'm going to accept that the 15K armor costs so much because of labor alone.
